The American Board of Dermatology (ABD) will accept applications for the International Pathway for Certification for qualifying faculty candidates once again in 2026.
2026 Deadlines
Submit Declaration of Intent: March 16-20
If your declaration is accepted:
Submit Application & References: March 30 - April 19
Application Approvals: Middle of June
On March 16, 2026 the ABD will open the Declaration of Intent form to allow candidates to begin the intent process. By declaring their intent, potential candidates attest to specific criteria, which may be found here, along with other pathway details.
