You can learn whether your doctor is certified by the American Board of Dermatology by using the ABD’s Dermatologist Search Tool.
If your doctor’s name is not listed, he or she may be certified by another medical specialty board. You can find out by checking the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Certification Matters website. (You may need to scroll down the page to see the “Find my Doctor” search tool.)
The ABD is a founding member of ABMS; 24 specialty boards are now ABMS members.
